How Conport handles personal data at the studio on str. București, Chișinău. This notice was updated on 2 November 2026.
Who we are
The controller for personal data described on this page is the studio Conport, str. București 71, et. 2, MD-2012, mun. Chișinău, sectorul Centru, Republic of Moldova. You can write to [email protected] or call +373 22 844 619 on Tuesday to Friday, 09:00–17:30.
We have not designated a data protection officer. Requests about your data are read by the studio at that address. Registration particulars of the studio are sent with an engagement note. This page identifies the controller by name, address, and contact details, which is what Article 13 of Law no. 195/2024 requires us to give you when we collect data from you.
The law that applies
From 23 August 2026 the processing of personal data in the Republic of Moldova is governed by Law no. 195 of 25 July 2024 on personal data protection, published in the Official Gazette no. 367–369, article 574. On that date Law no. 133/2011 on personal data protection was repealed, as Article 90 of Law no. 195/2024 provides.
Law no. 195/2024 applies to processing in the context of our establishment in the Republic of Moldova, whether or not a particular message is routed elsewhere. It is the law we follow for briefs, calls, paper files in the side room, and the sheets that name a living person. Where a matter is reserved to Law no. 241/2007 on electronic communications, Article 89(4) of Law no. 195/2024 says the newer law does not stack a second duty on top of that specific regime. We are not a provider of public electronic communications services. We are a process studio that publishes these pages and corresponds with clients.
The pages themselves are an information society service only in the modest sense that they are made available online. Law no. 284/2004 on information society services is not used here to shift responsibility onto a host for content we wrote. We wrote it.
What this site does
businessconportcust.cc is a set of static pages. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment box, and no analytics tag. The contact form does not post your words to a server of ours. It opens a message in your mail program, addressed to the studio. If you prefer, you can write or call without using the form at all.
We do not set cookies, and we do not use local storage, to remember you. The cookie note says that at length. If the company that hosts the files keeps connection logs, that is described below under retention and under the cookie note. We do not receive those logs as part of an ordinary week.
Data we process
When you email a brief, call the studio, or walk into a review, we process what you give us. That is typically your name, role, company, phone number, email address, the address of the workplace you want mapped, the description of the job, and the date you need the sheets. If a contract follows, we also keep the engagement note, invoices, and correspondence about dates and corrections.
On a floor walk we write what the work does. We prefer roles to names. A notebook may still contain a name you spoke, a shift pattern, or a detail that identifies a person indirectly. Those notes are personal data when they relate to an identifiable living person. They are kept in the paper cabinet in the side room and in the studio mailbox, not on this website.
We do not buy lists. We do not scrape addresses. The source of the data is you, or your colleague whom you asked to write, or what we observe on a visit you arranged.
Why we process it
We answer a brief and prepare a quote, a recce, and an engagement note because you asked us to take steps before a contract, and then because the contract itself requires it. That is point (b) of Article 6(1) of Law no. 195/2024.
We keep invoices and the accounting records that go with them because Law no. 287 of 15 December 2017 on accounting, and the normative acts under it, require a controller to retain accounting documents. That is point (c) of Article 6(1).
We keep a short record of who called and what was asked, and we lock the cabinet, because it is in our legitimate interest to run a small studio without mixing one client’s lanes with another’s, and to be able to show later what was agreed. That is point (f) of Article 6(1). The interest is the ordinary running of a three-person studio in Chișinău. It does not override a request to erase a marketing note we never needed. We do not send newsletters, so that conflict rarely arises. You can object to processing based on point (f), as the rights section says.
We do not rely on consent for the basic brief. If we ever ask for consent for something optional, we will say so in the sentence that asks, and you can withdraw it without affecting a sheet that was already delivered under the contract.
Other people in a brief
A process map often describes employees, clerks, or contractors who are not the person who wrote to us. If you send us their names, shift patterns, or complaints, you need your own lawful basis for sharing that with a studio. Tell those people the map is being drawn if the law that applies to you requires it.
For the contact details in your email, we are the controller. For personal data inside the client’s operation, which we handle on written instructions in the engagement note, we act as a processor under Article 28 of Law no. 195/2024. The note says which is which. We do not use a client’s staff list for any other job. We would rather the lanes carry roles. If a name is unnecessary, we strike it on the draft before the roll is plotted.
Identification numbers
Do not send a state identification number (IDNP), a copy of an identity card, or a similar number in a brief. Article 53 of Law no. 195/2024 limits how such numbers may be processed. A process map does not need them. If one arrives, we delete it from the working copy and tell you. Invoices use the identifiers the accounting rules actually require, not a person’s IDNP collected out of habit.
Recipients
The mailbox is read by the people who keep the studio. A paper brief is read by the same people. We do not sell data and we do not pass a brief to another studio.
We do not use a form processor, an analytics vendor, or an advertising network on this site. Your mail provider and your phone provider handle the message or the call on the way to us. They are not our processors for the content, but they see the traffic because that is how mail and telephone work. If we ever appoint a processor who stores briefs for us, the engagement will be in a contract that meets Article 28, and this page will name the category of recipient.
We may disclose data if a court in the Republic of Moldova, or another body with a lawful demand, requires it. We will ask the demand to be specific. We do not volunteer client files to a third party who is merely curious.
Transfers
The studio is in Chișinău and the cabinet is in Chișinău. We do not operate a second office abroad and we do not send client lanes to a group company, because there is not one.
Ordinary email can pass through servers outside the Republic of Moldova before it reaches us. We do not control that path, and we do not use it as a reason to export a filing system. Where a transfer of personal data to another country would be our own act, Articles 44 to 49 of Law no. 195/2024 apply: an adequacy decision of the National Centre for Personal Data Protection, appropriate safeguards, or a narrow condition such as a transfer necessary to perform a contract with you or to take pre-contractual steps at your request. We will not move a cabinet of notes abroad for convenience.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not become work is kept for twelve months and then deleted, unless a dispute is already open. That period lets us find the earlier brief if you write again in the same season.
An engagement file — the brief, the notes, the scenario, the correspondence about corrections — is kept for the life of the work and then for three years, which is the general limitation period we work to under the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova. Our working copy of the sheets is destroyed with that file. Your copy is yours.
Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by Law no. 287/2017 on accounting and the related normative acts, which can be longer than three years. We do not keep them in the same drawer as the floor-walk notebooks once the job is closed. They move to the accounting file.
If a host keeps connection logs for this domain, our instruction is that they are a security record only and are not kept longer than 90 days. We do not use them to identify readers of the journal.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 of Law no. 195/2024 you can ask us for access to personal data we hold about you, for rectification of what is wrong, for completion of what is incomplete, for erasure where a ground in Article 17 applies, for restriction, for a portable copy where the right to portability applies, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent where processing was based on consent. We do not take decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, of the kind Article 22 regulates. A map is drawn by people in the hall.
Write to [email protected] or to the street address. Say what you want and how we should reply. We may ask for enough detail to be sure we are writing to the right person, not for a dossier. We answer within a reasonable period, and we will tell you if a request is unfounded or excessive, or if an exception in the law applies, for example where we must keep an invoice.
Complaints and the courts
You can lodge a complaint with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection (Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal). Article 72 gives you one year from the day you could have known of the alleged infringement, and not more than three years from the infringement itself. Continuing conduct is timed from the last act or omission. The Centre’s public address is str. Serghei Lazo 48, MD-2004, mun. Chișinău, telephone +373 22 820 801, email [email protected], website datepersonale.md.
You can also file a lawsuit against us in the competent court under Article 74, without having to complain to the Centre first. The courts that sit in Chișinău, including Judecătoria Chișinău, are the ordinary forum for a studio established here, without taking away a right the law gives you to go elsewhere. Actions of the Centre itself can be challenged under Article 73 and the Administrative Code.
Please write to us first if you are willing. Most corrections on a sheet are faster in the side room than in a file at the Centre. That is an offer, not a condition.
Security
The mailbox is used by the three people who keep the studio. The paper cabinet in the side room is locked when the hall is open for a review that is not yours. Boards are cleared between clients. Screens are locked when the room is not attended. We do not keep a shared analytics login because there is no analytics account.
No measure is perfect. If a breach of the kind the law treats as a personal-data incident reaches your data, we will assess it and, where Articles 33 and 34 require it, inform the Centre and you.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly ask a child for data. A map of a business process should not need it. If a brief contains data of a child, we delete that part and tell you.
Changes
If the studio’s practice changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and change the date under the title. The page you are reading is the notice for the site and for briefs sent to the address above. An engagement note may add a shorter reminder. It does not quietly reduce what this page promises.
Questions go to the same place as a brief: Conport, str. București 71, et. 2, MD-2012, mun. Chișinău, [email protected], +373 22 844 619.
